It seems like we are always seeking for something. As we've stated before, we meet Jewish friends who were involved with every religion and cult. We Jews are always searching for the answers to this life. We believe that God has put that in us, and also given us warning.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And do not rely on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5, Tanakh)

“He has put eternity into man’ hearts.” (Ecclesiastes 3:9, Tanakh)

It is funny as we see Jews looking to the Eastern religions, the Western cults, and pretty much everything except the truth about our Messiah. Maybe there’s a reason. Maybe there’s something trying to keep us from knowing our Messiah?

When I was a teenager searching for the truth, I looked into Eastern religions, including Transcendental Meditation, Buddhism, Hinduism (Bu-Jews and Hin-Jews are what we were usually called), and found myself still not finding the answer I was seeking. But may we never stop seeking! The Tanakh again guides us.

Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!” (Psalm 105:4)

Like many Jews we are serious about finding out where we came from, what we are doing here, and where we are going? One thing most of us Jews seem to know for certain, is that there's no way that Jesus can be the Messiah or the answer we are seeking?

But maybe we should all seriously take a look at who this Jesus really is? One of my Jewish heroes wrote in the Brit Hadashah,

a partial hardening has come upon Israel.” (Romans 11:25)

Ah, maybe there is a reason. But wait, that says ‘partial hardening’. What if that is taken away. What if one day we seek, and really find?

Why are we always seeking?

...There must be a reason!

Why are we always seeking?
