Believe it or not, it is not an emotional or physical problem as much as it is a spiritual one. History has shown that at various times over the last 1,700 years the Jews have been expelled from over 80 different countries. Historians have come up with their own theories,
Racial Theory – the Jews are hated because they are an inferior race.
Economic Theory – the Jews are hated because they possess too much wealth and power.
Outsiders Theory – the Jews are hated because they are different from everyone else.
Scapegoat Theory – the Jews are hated because they are the cause of all the world’s problems.
Deicide Theory – the Jews are hated because they killed Jesus, God-Incarnate.
Chosen People Theory – the Jews are hated because they arrogantly declare they are the “chosen ones of God.”
When we look at the hatred of the Jewish people from a spiritual point of view the answer becomes clearer. The Tanakh tells us of the hatred of the Jews throughout all history.
God speaks to the serpent (Satan) in Genesis 3:15
“I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; They shall strike at your head, and you shall strike at their heel.”
All through His-Story the enemy has used evil in man to “try” to exterminate the Jewish race. Jewish people know their history, right? You remember Cain & Abel? What about the dysfunctional families of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, or the 12 tribes?
Or think through the hatred of Haman. Purim and even Chanukah display hatred against the Jewish people.
Throughout human history there has been a deliberate attempt to exterminate the Jewish people, whether by the Crusades, the Inquisition, the Pogroms, or the Holocaust. WHY US?
The present day hatred of Hamas, and the Hamas loving college students is so illogical. There is no other race or ethnic group that has been hated so much throughout all of human history.
Yet…
“Many designs are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s plan that is accomplished.” (Proverbs 19:21)
